Volunteer Event Internship Opportunity

We're looking for a superstar to join the Fifeshire Foundation team as we prepare for two of our key events, The Big Give and our Charity Golf Day.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on event management experience while supporting a well-respected local charity. The role would suit a student or emerging professional studying events, marketing, communications, social sciences, or a related field who is keen to build practical skills and make a real community impact.

The volunteer position will run from October to December, and again from early January through to the end of March. We are open to splitting the opportunity into two separate internships, with one person supporting each event.

The role will be part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) during the planning and post-event stages, increasing to full-time during event delivery periods.

You'll have the opportunity to work alongside the Fifeshire Foundation team and dedicated Trustees and volunteers, gaining valuable experience in event coordination, marketing, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and project management. It's a fantastic chance to learn from experienced professionals while making a real difference in our community.

"Our events are all about bringing people together to create positive change in our community. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience, build professional networks, and be part of something truly meaningful. We'd love to welcome someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and ready to get stuck in."
